Live Oak Waldorf School Continuing Care Program
Our Continuing Care program is a place where children are lovingly held during times of transition before and after school as well as holiday breaks from school.
The Continuing Care director and staff work with the faculty to provide consistency with the principles underlying Waldorf education. Care Givers create a harmonious environment with rhythm and structure, as well as many opportunities for free play, games, nutritious cooking and baking, crafts and many other activities. For the older children, space is be created for special activities or homework.
Our park like campus invites children to outdoor play during all types of weather and our indoor environments offer space to relax, books to read, games to play, stories to be heard and art to be created.
Each day a wholesome, organic snack is served to the children. Homemade, when possible; fresh and locally sourced when available, organically grown and served with love.
Our Continuing Care program is directed by Aerowenn Hunter, and includes a staff of enthusiastic, qualified child care providers.
