An evening of interactive, outdoor theater as your family
travels down a lighted path of pumpkins.

This extremely popular event was original developed for the school
families, but was quickly expanded to the community as more parents
heard about the Pumpkin Path and wanted their children to participate in
this engaging theatrical event.

Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the Pumpkin Path.

Q: What can we expect at the Pumpkin Path?
The Live Oak Waldorf campus is filled with hundreds of carved and lit pumpkins. These pumpkins are set up to create a magical backdrop and trail that each family follows with an assigned spirit guide. Families are scheduled to depart on the Pumpkin Path every 15 minutes and each guide will bring your group of about 25 individuals through the lighted Pumpkin Path. Along the path there are a number of small outdoor theater-like settings where your child will view a small skit.  At the end of the Pumpkin Path there will warm cider and cookies for all the participants.

You should allow about one hour to follow the whole path.

Q: What time should we show up for Pumpkin Path?
At the time that you purchase your tickets you will reserve a time period for departing the Pumpkin Path.
Please show up 15 minutes prior to your departure time slot to allow time for parking and check-in.

Q: How should we dress?
Children are encouraged to dress in homemade costumes or should wear what they plan to wear for Halloween
(and many parents also come dressed in their Halloween costumes).

Q: Is there a recommended age for this event?
This event is appropriate for children of all ages.  Infants and toddlers can be carried by their parents and smaller
children will be seated on hay bales at the front of each skit so that they have a great view of the action.  Some walking
over the grounds is required so if your toddler get's tired you will want to bring a carrier.

Q: Is there a cost involved for the Pumpkin Path
The cost is $5 per person or $15 for a family of four.  We accept either cash or checks (please make your check payable to "LOWS").

This event sells out every year.  You may make a reservation by phone but your space will be forfeited if we have not received payment within one week.  We will mail your ticket upon receipt of payment.
